Avid surfer, painter, and lifelong learner, Taylor Gallegos channels the rhythm of the ocean and the depth of art history into his creative practice. Based in Carlsbad, CA, his work explores the intersection of movement, philosophy, and form—bridging classical training with a contemporary flow.

A graduate with a B.A. in Fine Art from Colorado State University, Taylor’s practice spans large-scale murals, studio paintings, and public art installations that weave together realism, abstraction, and symbolism. His murals can be found throughout North America, from Alaska to Carlsbad, reflecting both the local surf culture, his love for nature, and a deep reverence for the human experience.

Taylor's mastery of multiple painting styles converge in his work—melding classical composition, gestural expression, and philosophical narrative into transcendent work.
